Buckminster School is excited to re-establish the PTFA, which makes a considerable contribution to the purchase of equipment and resources for the school, to the cost of some educational visits and to the life of the school in general.
All parents are automatically members and there is no fee. Former parents and interested people may become members as 'friends'. They will receive news of PTFA activities and be invited to take an active part.
The Annual General Meeting will normally be held every October (20th September this year), at which officers are elected; the remainder of the committee comprises volunteer parents and friends, plus the teaching staff. The committee meets at least twice a term.
The PTFA welcomes the support of parents and friends of the school. We can be easily contacted through the school.
